IIn 1949, entrepreneurs using simple antennas and Army-surplus coaxial cable created the country’s first cable television system and revolutionized the way Americans watched TV. More than fifty years later, Time Warner Cable, as the 2nd largest multiple service provider, owns and manages advanced, well-clustered cable systems in the United States. In the Southwest Area, which includes the Yuma Arizona system, residential as well as commercial services are offered and in 2010, the local system will celebrate its 50th anniversary.  The Yuma system is able to provide true digital video, high speed internet access, and digital phone products.  TWC is able to offer these services at very competitive rates and packages which will suite every end user’s application.  The Yuma system is designed using the HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) topology which provides redundant paths and interconnects.  This design is fully redundant, back-up powered supplied and manned 24 x7 with personal to met any demands placed.  Our goal is and will be to ensure that our customers’ expectations are being met and exceeded today and into the future.

Yuma International Airport is managed and operated by the Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc (YCAA). Under Arizona Statutes, a state "Airport Authority" is an independent public agency and a non-profit organization. Our Airport Authority, called the "Yuma County Airport Authority" was incorporated as a non-profit entity in the State of Arizona on December 30, 1965. Our mission, as the YCAA, is to operate Yuma International Airport on behalf of the citizens and families of Yuma County, Arizona.  The YCAA leases the airport's land from the County on a fifty year lease that currently continues through December 2057. Typically the lease is renewed every 25 years. The Airport is managed by the Airport Director with the guidance of a 14 member Board of Directors

Yuma County Airport Authority and the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma work together under a Joint Use and Development Agreement for the benefit of both entities. This agreement formalizes the coexistence of two independent, but mutually operating parties legitimately sharing a single common airfield since 1956.The expressed goal of each organization is to merge the operational and planning efforts of both to realize a shared vision for the airport’s future with compatible and mutually agreeable growth that supports the interests of the United States Marine Corps, the Department of Defense, and the citizens of Yuma County, Arizona.  This agreement provides both parties the opportunity to develop a single airfield master plan that supports the aviation vision of both airfield users. Additionally, it binds both to develop in compliance with an agreed-to master plan.
