Over the next five years, the population is projected to grow by 10.3%. The City of Yuma has grown 23.11% and the Town of Wellton 8.53%. A large portion of the growth has been within the communities of San Luis and Somerton. Between 2000 and 2010, San Luis grew by 68.83% while Somerton grew by 67.18%.
